Tuesday Update Polytechnic Youth, 2018's Best Sellers, Peggy Gou, The Gentleman Losers, Space Afrika

Final shouts for Christmas, plus a smattering of newbies, some decent reissues, 2018's best sellers, Atmosphere re-press, Mark Leckey 10”, Shinichi Atobe and...not much more.

Last Christmas posting dates

Place your orders for in-stock stuff by 2pm on the following days for a fighting chance (not a guarantee) of delivery by Christmas. In-stock items can ship quickly, y'see?

  • Tuesday 18th December for Belgium, France, Ireland, and Luxembourg
  • Thursday 20th December for United Kingdom.

There will be staff on-hand to answer emails, etc. until 4pm Friday 21st December. If you’re in Leeds and want to collect an order, please try to get here by 3:30pm - just in case of any hiccups.

Also ending this Friday: Double NormanPoints and our Christmas Vinyl Competition. Have you placed a £75+ order this December? No? Then get on it: you might win an album every month next year.

More nagging: have you opened your Vinyl Advent Calendar today? 25% off a randomly selected item…

To make last-minute shopping even easier for you:

  • here what’s remains of this year’s bestsellers so far - all in stock, all ready for quick shipping;
  • always worth checking our Back In page too, ‘cos it’s short for ‘back in stock’ and in-stock stuff ships quickly (did we mention?);
  • and if you’re still stuck then there’s always our Gift Vouchers: ready-printed postcards, by email, or even print your own.

New records

Not many this week but let’s have a look through.

  • Just In! Super duper compilation of retro synth flavoured stuff on Polytechnic Youth.
  • Super limited, hand-stamped, white label 12" by Peggy Gou on Ninja Tune. Jamal Moss, Jay Daniel and I:Cube remixes.
  • In at long long last (we think): Objekt.
  • The Gentleman Losers already made a great album already this year, and now there’s another.
  • Vymethoxy Redspiders is of course the solo name from one of Guttersnipe.
  • 10” from Turner Prize winning artist Mark Leckey on Warp.
  • Worth a mention for these Noyzelab pre-orders.

  • Rewind to the ‘90s for Christophe De Babylon blasted beats.
  • Thank the Lord, one of my favourite records of the year by Space Afrika is available again in time for the year-end lists.
  • Another good ‘un from Shinichi Atobe re-pressed.
  • 10 years to the day Atmosphere came up with this preposterously titled record.
  • GZA now with Marvel cover art.

See you early doors on Thursday for the final time this year.
