It was once rumoured that Autechre used to make their albums by feeding their sounds into some computer device which spewed out 'tunes' ready made which were then pressed onto records and cds with no further input from the band. I wouldn't be surprised if Morrissey uses the same method to produce his singles these days. His new single 'All you need is me' is pretty much every song he has ever done put in a mangler and re-arranged to make a new one. Completely unmemorable. Meanwhile his record sleeves get grainier and grainier and increasingly homoerotic.
