Lovingly melancholic, lilting & timeless folk, i'd say fans of Isobel Cambell/Mark Lanegan & Lucky Luke may like this. The flip 'Welcome Change' sounds a tiny bit less Cohen-esque but could well appeal to Tindersticks/Bad seeds devotees with it's graceful, tragic strings, beautifully strummed guitars and charming foot tapping drama. i'd love to see this man & his leading ladies live. I reckon he sounds damn authentic & proud for someone who apes the classics!

Heard this on Radio 2 Stuart Marconie my God finally a record I can say that is beautiful. Just as they suggested. Undoubtedly some Leonard Cohen in there intelligible lyrics wrapped in a beautiful song . This kid is dynamite!!!
