Tel Aviv-ians Windy & Destiny have a lovely CD album out on Earsay records of Israel village. 'Words for Such a Riot' is atmospheric & other worldly lo-fi guitar pop that sounds like it's ben recorded using old Valve Equipment. The vocalist Michel has a beautiful yearning voice that covers the shambling, off -kilter guitars, wheezing wurlitzer organ & muffled velvets-ey drums with a kinda Hope Sandoval/Nancy Sinatra honeyed tinge, at once kitten soft & powerful. It's really one of the most endearing & natural albums i've heard from Israel. With it's feet set in the 50s/60's but the overall vibe utterly timeless & organic i can recommend this heartily to fans of Mazzy star, The Flaming Stars & Holly Golightly/Headcoatees. Also see the vastly underrated Fabienne Delsol & The Bristols. Lovely, lovely, lovely! (Bargain priced too!)

10/10 Danielle Customer review,

This is truly a beautiful album. The perfect album for those quiet reflective moments, some songs have a dark and melancholy feel, others are upbeat and positive. Well crafted beautiful songs, sung by sultry, enchanting, and emotional voice.
