Pram are a blast from the past for me. I used to be pretty obsessed with 'em and I remember when they cancelled their Leeds gig at the Duchess cos they had no drummer I wrote to 'em and offered them my unique sticksman skills. I got a nice letter back from Rosie politely telling me they'd already found a replacement (ie fuck off). Alas I never gave up on 'em though and I still enjoy listening to some of their lo fi shannigans on a reasonably regular basis.... The Iron lung EP still does special things to me though. Here's 'The Moving Frontier' CD/LP on Domino and they're still parading around their toytown sounds with gleeful abandon (whatever that means). I'm pleased they're still releasing records and that folks out there are still buying 'em. There has always some been something a bit rubbish about 'em though but they're so utterly charming you end up not caring. Lovely.... recommended!!
