8/10 Brian Staff review, 16 August 2007

Maggie compared them with the dogshit in Armley Park which there is rather a lot of. I've just posted some through the letterbox of some ignorant venture capitalist who's just extended his hyper secure "yard" (see "Rottweiller cage") halfway into the bin yard without asking the equally useless council. Then we reckon he's done off with a load of paving slabs in retaliation from next door so the council are braying at my door for my housemate to move his broken down car so they can tarmac it over. I can't find the keys. And he's at work. For the council. And he's not allowed to answer his phone. So they have to come back tomorrow. Mundane you say? I say tragically brilliant, funny & life affirming. Like Maximo Park's 'Girls Who Play Guitars'. The opener from Clinton's "most uninspired" album of the year, this had our lass whooping with delight. Then again she is a bit dotty, like me. They say there's some mad in that magic over yonder. Multi formatted & on Waaaaaarp, home of Sheffield techno-no. B-sides are pretty sorted too!

8/10 Stuart Customer review,

Very lively and sounds great! Has much more 'umph' than their previous singles. A must buy indeed! It sounds like a fusion between an Spandau Ballet and The Killers.
