Head nodding slow motion groovers that infectiously work their way into your consciousness. This is at the stranger more experimental end of the spectrum. Dark futurism with plenty of otherworldly sounds to keep it interesting. A pleasant surprise this one. Very Cool.

8/10 Roger Batty Customer review, 21st July 2007

Ulchi is a fine slice of spacey & atmospheric electronica, with the odd dips into more ambient waters here and there, with piano melancholy brushers and church organ hum. It often shows it’d darker heart, more nocturnal vibe with bassy prime evil break–downs and shadowy synth expanses. There are glitch and noisy edges added here and there in a rather effective manner too. With the electronic rhythmic patterns often nodding towards a more tribal and African air. It brings to mind an updated version of early Future sounds of London, but with out the environmental and dialogue samples. All in all a heady and atmospheric ride that offers enough variation and textural twists, turns and often eerier melodic traces to keep you interested through-out.
