Now here's a complicated release on Woodland Recordings which is a a split 2 disc album ep from The Great Park and The Diamond Family Archive. The whole unique packaging gives you an instant feeling of a fresh forest when listening to this music because of the handmade feel to it. The first bite was with the eye, good use of the Banjo with breathy folky campfire vocals, similar toAdem's acoustic guitar work. Now The Great Park which follows on the folky acoustic guitar lilt. Mingus is finding track 2 heartbreaking and if it were not for my eye infection I could be accused of weeping. Track 3 & 4 and he's back on the guitar and its retained its intimate simple folky nature. He sounds a bit like Conor Oberst from Bright Eyes. Very lovely indeed.

10/10 Jon Customer review,

An excellent early set from two excellent bands. A very good introduction to one of the best things to come out of Brighton since Doctor Robert.

For lovers of alt-folk, Bright Eyes and Bonnie Prince Billy.
