Good grief Buffalo Tom are back. I remember these being around in the early to mid 90's and thought they sucked. Nothing has changed. Good grief Buffalo Tom are back. I remember these being around in the early to mid 90's and thought they sucked. Nothing has changed. There is a live track on the B-side and has a man singing on it and another man playing a harmonica, possibly the same man. 'Bad Phone Call' is 7 " only on New West Records. Phil says they still sound the same. It might sound cool if you let a bus run over it then drill holes in it, set on fire then piss on it to extinguish the flames then dip it in a bath of sulphuric acid, then smash it up with a lump hammmer, glue it back together then play it backwards at the wrong speed. If you like them though then I'm sure this will appeal. At east they're still at it even if it's not my bag.

8/10 Sherwood Sledge Customer review,

I think the other reviewer must have mistakenly heard that the band BUSH had a new CD coming out, because Buffalo Tom are not the enemy. Now, honestly my girlfriend cannot stand the singer's voice and personally I hate the harmonica. But one thing I always root for is an underdog band. Buffalo Tom are that band, and they can be counted on for very strong melodies even after all these years. 'Bad Phone Call' begins the album, but in my opinion is not the strongest track on it. Even so, this VERY commercial sounding song does boast a really memorable melody and respectable lyrics.
