9/10 MissingPlanet Customer review, 4th September 2014

When I was 18, this was my favourite record. In the intervening 20 and a bit years, I have bought it again 3 times. Accessible enough to instantly hook angst-ridden teenagers and mature enough to still speak to someone pushing middle age, this record is a half-hour blast of honesty. If I'm going to be honest, I've always thought Judas Cradle is a small dip in quality, but from the hypnotic repetition of Come Around via the greatest guitar solo ever in Tilted, the utter perfection (and hammering kick drum) of JC Auto, Bob singing a round with himself in Feeling Better (the album's highest of high points) and the swirling keyboards of Walking Away, this is indie rock at its peak.
