8/10 Mingus Staff review, 03 May 2007
The second is a compilation which features amongst others: Bending Mouth; "the ep".The artists are Thesis Sahib and Selfhelp either collaborating or providing solo pieces. Nine tracks that marries the aesthetics of the Anti- Con movement that stretches from Canada, America, UK and France. In fact there's more than a tenuous link to the largely pale backpack scene, mostly evident in the chorused vocal delivery, some seriously arcane sample references. All this is complete with the usual self-referential dialogue, varying pace and heaviness (beats and topics). For fans of Buck 65, Sixtoo or Sage Francis.

10/10 Tongue Customer review,

This is one of my favorite albums of all time. The beats & the rhymes are amazing through the whole thing. I love both Thesis and Selfhelp. I wish Selfhelp would put something out. I wonder what he does with his time? Thesis' albums after have also been excellent. I particularly enjoy his 'Loved Ones' album. I also love the artwork on this album. My favorite song would have to be Stolen From Family'. Very original and also I hate war so this is a nice track about that. Altogether this highly political album sheds insight on a hurting planet. I think it is great.
