Jonny Trunk's label Trunk have put out another BASIL KIRCHIN album entitled 'Particles'. This is a collection of some of his 60's Jazz stuff that ranges from the avant-garde almost incidental, like the sounds from a long lost kids TV show to really cheesy, over the top commercial game show type gubbins. There's horns blowing, squeaking and rumbling all over the place. As ever with Trunk the vinyl will be very limited and sell out before you can say.....Jazz. Sadly Kirchin lost a battle with cancer in 2005 so it's nice that his memory is being kept alive.
