First up  POP LEVI  Sings The Return To Form Black Magick Party. Its a swash buckling amalgamation of all things  pouting retro. Its got the strut of Marc Bolan the vocal intonation of Robert plant with the vibe of the Rolling Stones. Not a bad list of artists but is it any good? Well its certainly holds its space in time with  Its full of built in hooks and jerky hand claps. He's got an ear for the melody too when he's not being all whiney and nasal . Phil likes track 5  which is a simple guitar and vocal space song which has a hypnotic feel to it.... gazing out.. He's a  talented geezer but he's treading over heavily trodden ground which makes it difficult to sound revolutionary... but they do say evolution rather than revolution.. and it sounds like a pretty cool side step from the glam rock we all know and love?
