I've just whacked on The self titled album from THE CREEPY CREEPS. Immodestly the vocal makes me think of Rollins in Black Flag. The Californian 4 piece competently deliver what I can only describe as punk rock with organs. Reminding me in places of The Zutons and Man Or Astroman with the occasional bit of surf guitar. Phil reckons the organ is a lot like Inspiral Carpets. It's worth mentioning that the band are dressed as skeletons in mexican outfits. Way cool. I'm also reminded slighty of An Albatross with the meandering organs albeit without the thrash metal element. The vinyl is of the lovely half green half clear variety and is on Inka Records.
