9/10 Phil Staff review, 12 November 2006
Ho ho ho.... what  a beauty this be. From the off this hits you where it hurts. Where to start eh?? Well it's a cross breed of electronica and post rock. I can hear bits of Lucky Pierre (without the cheese) and it reminds me a lot of some of the early Melodic records before they started releasing records by Nine Black Alps (got to make a living somehow I guess..). This is really sublime stuff with lots of acoustic guitar, weird disturbed sounding vocals, electronic wooshes, tinkly pianos, crazy samples and all kinds of goodness to delight. There's so much warmth in this album you can chuck your radiators away this winter and sit huddled around this. You'll save yourself squillions. If you liked the recent Northstation and Jonquil albums you'll be loving this. Get a nice suit of armour on and get prepared to be crushed from the greatness within. Listen to it here! - Phil
