9/10 Gregor Omelasz Customer review, 9th February 2017
Probably one of the most underrated Arab Strap records, and it's a blinder. It's sluggish, it's hungover, it's wonderful, and it has some of their best tracks 'Love Detective' and 'Screaming In The Trees' to name a couple. Might be the last slow burning Strap record before their final years (studio releases wise), so what's the point in this album when you have Elephant Shoe and Philophobia to take pride in enjoying?
Well the point is this, this album makes you feel like the 2nd day of recovery from a Friday night shit-fest where nothing went as planned and you're £100 poorer because you decided to be the big man when it came to rounds of drinks. No other Arab Strap record can give you that experience, isn't that what it's about?
