JOHANN JOHANNSSON is a new name to me. Not wanting to sound ignorant 'n all but there's one too many Johann's in his name. Mind you I have a tiny brain and struggle with many many things. Multi Johann has signed to 4AD (after a few albums on Touch) and it's lush stuff. Neo classical music with some tiny twinkles of electronica and more strings than you can shake a stick at...... Somewhere between Max (our lord) Richter and the orchestral sounds of Sigur Ros. It's very Icelandic sounding and if you close your eyes you can see those incredible landscapes and glaciers. This will be used in the next series of Planet Earth I reckon. Gimme some odds, William Hill...... Nordic!
