First up is 'Coins & Crosses' a rather charming blend of warm ambient electronics and neo-classicim courtesy of RYAN TEAGUE. This is the electro-acoustic composers debut album and it's utterly heartwarming. This will appeal to fans of Peter Green, Max Richter, Robert Normandeu etc. There are some dark spooky moments on here juxtaposed with some of the most emotive, epic, spine tingling sonic material I've heard in a while. This is like the soundtrack at the end of a movie that makes you want to cry. A strong debut indeed. Phil says this has a real Vienna romantic winters evening to it... The big softie. Totally recommended on Type.
