"Phil likes BROADCAST and Ant doesn't" - so that's my link to the review of The new Broadcast album. Terrible I know. I'll understand if you can't bear to read on... So 'The Future Crayon' is basically a collection of 18 tracks taken from rare & limited edition singles, EP's and compilations. It's not that I dislike them, I just wouldn't say I liked them. The lady does have a really sweet voice, you regular readers know I have a bit of a soft spot for a female voice. Warp have kindly compiled these works onto one handy CD and double vinyl. You Broadcast fans out there will more than likely have most of the tracks on here possibly with the exception of 'Hammer Without a Master' which was exclusive to Warp's 'We Are Reasonable People' comp from 1998 and 'DDL' which appeared on an All Tomorrows Parties compilation. I'm off to ATP in December. Can't freakin' wait...
