If you thought Kasabian were a recent epidemic, then you should know they released their second record, 'Empire', in 2006. Back then they were having a good time rubbing elbows with Oasis and making slightly less spaced-out, electronic stuff -- because, you know, in 2006, we all thought Britpop was cool. - Empire by Kasabian
7/10 Warren Allett 23rd May 2015
For a long while now this album has been one of my favourites by Kasabian, and i longed for the Re-press of this on vinyl as I unfortunately missed it the first time round. This LP takes huge influences from the first self titled LP, but as a band they seemed to advance, producing the same Kasabian we are used to hearing, but having more upbeat power driven LP.
This LP contains the singles Empire, Me Plus one and the big hit Shoot The Runner. A must for any fan of Kasabians other work, a much better LP than their newest!
