More bizarre Yankophile ephemera in the form of Mount Eerie's debut album. This is the guy from The Microphones, the insanely titled PW Elverum & Sun (also the label). He unleashes an echo laden collection of intriguing pastoral experimental folk, imbued with touches of subtle feedback & lashings of organic percussion. It later  delves into fascinating crashes of mangled psych noise & avant garde rumbling, like Sebadoh being eaten by Sunn O)))) before returning with more wistful, twisted weirdness. A truly remarkable & strange record ...'No Flashlight' It's called....
