There's numerous vocal harmonies that sound identical to a forgotten song I once liked but I'm buggered if I can dredge my stubborn memory for the required info. This new Pipettes single is doing my head in. Not that 'Dirty Mind's relentlessly chirpy sixth form go-go dancer vibe is dreadful. Hell no. There's numerous vocal harmonies that sound identical to a forgotten song I once liked but I'm buggered if I can dredge my stubborn memory for the required info. The nearest comparison is Tracey Ullman covers 'Roam' by The B-52's. Or The Headcoatees given a cute Banarama makeover. So perfect 60's flecked indie ramalama pop from a bygone era, dripping with charm, subtlety & innocence.
