8/10 Brian Staff review, 28 November 2006
Always liked Large Number. Led by the most shaggable one from Add N to X, this is micro toytown electro lo-fi krautrock. "This is what?" you holler. This is 'Shy English Hitler' & is the lead track from 'The Electronic Bible' chapter 2.and as a springboard/showcase for the new generation of electro-sleazerock it works rather well. X-Wife sound like Sleater-Kinney with a drum machine & a love for trash whilst Hiem are just a bit weird & in awe of those low end fuzzy analogue sounds Shenton & co got with Ver X. Except in a slightly tinny dislocated way. A cool little 7" definitely!!
