The worst record of the week by a long shot comes from The Beat Up's. This is torrid rock nonsense for people who find Young Heart Attack a bit sophisticated.  As an indie snob I'm horrified to see Kevin Shields name on the credits as producer. Anything for a dollar eh Kevin? So bad they've had to drag James Brown in to mix track 2. Makes no difference though, still abominable. On CD and 2 x 7"s both with the same tracks but on (wait for it) different coloured vinyl.
