Mudhoney were still slogging away in the early noughties and Under A Billion Suns was their 2006 album. They drafted in hot producers of the day like Phil Elk and Tucker Martine on an album which continued the rather commercial sound the band were pursuing. The extra production touches masked a seriously political album which raged against the Bush 2 administration and the state of America.
