Rhino Records are in the midst of a campaign of reissuing the discography of Air, the smooth, loungey French synth-charmers. 10,000 Hz Legend found the group stretching out their tracks into territories more experimental than their previous LP Moon Safari. Includes the robot-voice single ‘How Does It Make You Feel’. Pressed to proper 180g vinyl and freshly remastered.

8/10 Penrith Steve Customer review, 22nd June 2015
"1000 hz Legend" was the follow-up to Air's tour-de-force "Moon Safari". Like it's predecessor it is full of spacey electronica. Despite "Moon Safari" being a classic, due it being over-played I find "1000 hz Legend" more listenable these days. "How Does It Make You Feel" is a beautiful piece of space-age pop, reminiscent of "Playground Love" from The Virgin Suicides soundtrack. "Radio #1" takes the repetitive formula that did so well for them with "Sexy Boy" and "Kelly Watch The Stars" and adds a huge dollop of ELO to it. "Vagabond" features Beck on lead vocal.
There are touches of Pink Floyd here too, "Sex Born Poison" has a sound reminiscent of "Obscured By Clouds". I fear this album may have suffered the same fate as Television's "Adventure" did being so overshadowed by "Marquee Moon" but it shouldn't because it's great.
