Absolutely dig this Jackson Analogue single on Fallout. After the heinous crime committed by The Checks earlier, I uttered that there's nowt wrong with deriving sounds, vibes & energy from the past as long as a fresh twist is added to the mix. 'Stop' is a hammond driven orgy of whirlwind devotion coming on like an atom bomb being chucked down a bowling alley in Carnaby Street circa '68. Maybe think The Animals with Roger Daltrey on methamphetamine kicking & screaming into the noughties. Utterly fantastic work of passionate retro-esque guitar pop that sounds remarkably chipper in It's army parka & drainpipes. The B-sides are ok but more workmanlike (see Buffalo Tom/Sugar) but check the 'A' out anyhow. It'll make you wanna go the cock out on the town.
