9/10 Basket Press Customer review, 1st May 2014

Epic, windswept, apocalyptic instrumental "post-rock" of the most epic variety! Did I mention that this is EPIC! Surging, heavy riffing, breaking down into quieter, more reflective passages, then back on the epic pedal! I like the inclusion of what is less usual instrumentation for this genre: pedal steel guitar, which adds some very distinctive colour and textures to the sound. The less said about the titles of the pieces the better, as this reminds me of the worst excesses of classic era prog (yes, I am old enough) and supplies further ammunition for my argument that "post is the new prog". Demands that you make like Nigel Tufnell and turn your amp up to 11 (and hope that your neighbours like it too!).
