1 review | 6 people love this record: be the 7th!

Slicer is a piece of early Wolf Eyes, initially released way back in 2001 as a cassette. For only the second outing of the 'classic' line-up of Aaron Dilloway, Nate Young and John Olson, Slicer is a really amazing piece of work, moving through a whole lot of territory. This reissue is the first vinyl outing for the record too.

8/10 Jack Customer review, 20th October 2015

This is an early Wolf Eyes album which has been reissued. This album differs from later Wolf Eyes work because it plainly displays the band at their birth, replete with the simplest noise experimentation. It's a good listen, but not the most representative of what Wolf Eyes have become. Although if one should run across the original vinyl or cassette versions with hand-painted album covers, one should immediately pick them up as they will probably fetch some very nice prices on the eBays in the future.
