He must have realised that the world was tired of his pretentious laptop arsing around (which had him on my spleen venting hitlist) & has undergone some kind of renaissance in the last year. So It's up to Kid 606 to provide the hard funky stuff these days. With aplomb. He must have realised that the world was tired of his pretentious laptop arsing around (which had him on my spleen venting hitlist) & has undergone some kind of renaissance in the last year. I think it started with the superb "The Illness" 12" but this man knows how to mash up fierce floor filling breaks & juddering basslines that sound just....well brilliant really! So here we have his remix album. And It's great. Taking everything from the ragga mash up stable to electro & twisted jungle to more considered breaks inspired by the Chemical Bros & Meat Beat Manifesto he forges something dancefloor friendly, futuristic & intelligent. "Who Still Kill Sound" is nifty as you like! WICKID :0)
