Originally released through the legendary punk label Step-Forward in 1979, Live At The Witch Trials by The Fall finally gets the reissue treatment for a new generation of fans. As a debut album it’s rugged and repetitive forging the template that Mark E. Smith would become famous for. Out on 2CD and 180 gram vinyl from Castle Music and Sanctuary.

9/10 S.Westwood Customer review, 25th August 2015

This is an amazing debut from one of the best bands ever to come from the UK. They still have an ever increasing discography but there debut is still one of my personal highlights.

From the start this album is full of rage and power. This power continues all the way through the album up to its closer "Music Scene".

Overall this is an album that fall fans will love. However I would not recommend it as the first album to listen to by The Fall. Despite that it is still a modern post-punk classic and deserves every listen it gets.
