8/10 Jack Customer review, 11th February 2015

This year's "We Used to Be Friends" was the kind of fantastic, flash-in-a-pan moment of rock and roll brilliance that The Dandy Warhols have, once an album, proven capable of. This seems to be the fate of The Dandys - an earth shatteringly wonderful single and then a merely damn good record. So with that pedigree, it was inevitable that "You Were The Last High" would be a disappointment. That said, it is a lovely stab at the kind of electronic atmospherics that New Order were wallowing in during the 80s. The song is nicely composed, and is overall quite flawless.
