REVIEWS
10/10 ultimatepunx Customer review, 21st September 2013
Fat Barry is probably going to have to close the shop because people LOVE this kind of amazing distorted racket AND RIGHTLY SO. The FEARLESS Makoto Kawabata unleashes torrents of noisy bilge, harnessing the power of the sky and channeling a lightning storms worth of energy all over everything. Who else plays guitar in this ridiculous a fashion? NOT THAT MANY PEOPLE. He doesn't seem to give a monkeys about notes or structure or anything. It sounds like a load of loose overhead wires blowing around in a high wind and setting fire to everything in the vicinity. People are SCREAMING because they CAN'T HANDLE IT.
Asahito Nanjo and Hajime Koizumi are desperately trying to keep it together. Nanjo is probably pleading for Kawabata to stop in between solos (it is too noisy to work out what he's singing) but Kawabata WILL NOT. That is the yin & yang of this record. If you like rock music you must buy this immediately and if you find it too distorted please pass it on to a real fan of LOUD MUSIC and put your Hugh Laurie Sings The Blues album back on.
NB I don't know if that Hugh Laurie album is any good, it might be. I'm assuming it's rubbish to make a point. Sorry if you're reading this Hugh.
