Rough Trade records got it SO right with The Strokes but I reckon The Moldy Peaches are a bad childish joke born of frustration at working in an Indie Record store and bad cheap drugs. But I gotta admit their 'Unreleased Cutz & Live Jamz' Double CD is an entertaining, fun, if not infantile, prospect. Resolutely Lo-Fi & endearing in equal measures. Clint's been shouting 'Grow Up!!' all the way through this but for girls that wear lime green sixties dresses, pink hairslides, NHS specs and a permanent scowl then this is your 'Exile on Main St'. For boys with bad hair, oversmall sweaters & huge zits this is your 'White Album'.
