Einstürzende Neubauten originally released Fünf auf der nach oben offenen Richterskala back in 1987. In English, the album means Five on the open-ended Richter Scale. This was their fourth album from the German (you don’t say?) industrial band, now reissued on vinyl from Indigo and Potomak.

7/10 Jack Customer review, 26th June 2015

Worth getting this album just for the incredible cover song Morning Dew which is beautiful and haunting. The band is starting to move away from their punishing industrial noise from previous releases and experimenting with new sounds and instruments, but this is still a pretty intense and scary record if you are not acquainted with the bands musical style. This is still pretty raw: unless you are familiar with the band or like industrial punk, I suggest you start with Ende Neu - Re-issue and Silence Is Sexy.
