8/10 Penrith Steve Customer review, 26th July 2015

Despite this being listed as a CD Single it is in fact and album, the debut album by singer/songwriter and stand-up comedian Rosie Thomas. She keeps her songwriting and her comedy separate though, which I imagine is a good thing. Her voice is quite superb and the songs roll along nicely in a kind of Shawn Colvin-style. The songs are sad, one look at the track listing will tell you that: "Farewell", "I Ran" and "Have You Seen My Love?" standout as particular tearjerkers. "Wedding Day" is the stand out moment on here though. A story about here fleeing the possibility of marriage and enjoying that just as much. "So much for love, I've been wronged but it's alright 'cause I'm moving on" she starts, then, "I've got my car packed with cassette tapes and sweaters and loose change and cheap cigarettes" before stating "It's gonna be so grand, it's gonna be just like my wedding day". It's her best album.
