Last Rights by Skinny Puppy

Originally released in 1992 as their final album via Nettwerk, ‘Last Rights’ was the seventh studio record from Canadian electro-industrial band Skinny Puppy. Including the single ‘Inquisition’, 'Last Rights' became the group's first LP to penetrate the US Billboard 200 chart. The record was later named by Alternative Press as one of the 100 best albums of the Nineties.

9/10 Mike Paprocki 17th November 2020

The seventh and last album of the classic Skinny Puppy era. This album has moments of beauty within its bleak atmosphere.

I just got this reissue as I remembered the feeling I had listening to this as a 16 year old when it first came out. Dense and deep emotive vocal dynamics with amazing sound design, an absolute industrial classic. It’s a great headphone listen and this reissue pressing sounds better than the first few they did. Must have for Skinny Puppy fans.
