'Trails to the Cosmic Vibrations' is a split-LP between Japanese psych-rock masters Acid Mothers Temple & the Melting Paraiso U.F.O. and Singapore-based rock band The Observatory. As such, this album has two contrasting sides from two contrasting bands. Side one accelerates over its twenty minutes, eventually reaching the cosmos at a bracing 360-bpm (will Acid Mothers Temple ever cease the freakiness and the deakiness?!). However, side two couldn’t be more different, delivering brooding post-rock. Import on Ujikai Records.
