Multiply Intentions by Katya Yonder

Katya Yonder is a Russian multi-instrumentalist. 'Multiply Intentions' is her fourth LPs and follows three albums of instrumental music. However - and here's the twist - on 'Multiply Intentions' she uses vocals for the first time. Not content with writing lyrics only in her native Russian, the clever-clogs Yonder sings in English, French and Japanese here too. She comes from Yekaterinburg, a city on the border with Kazakhstan, and her sound here blends influences from her home country with the neighbouring country’s musical traditions. There's also a bit of Madonna, Brian Eno and Cocteau Twins in the mix too.
