Live at Goose Lake: August 8th 1970 by The Stooges

Jack White’s Third Man label unearths yet another treat for fans of rock history - Live at Goose Lake: August 8th 1970 is the final show that The Stooges performed with their original line-up. This is the fabled gig at which they played Fun House in its entirety before it was even out, and where bassist Dave Alexander was allegedly so out of it that he couldn’t play a single note, after which Iggy Pop summarily fired him. This restoration of the original soundboard recording, found buried at the bottom of a pile in a Michigan farmhouse recently, proves otherwise.
