York-based indie newcomers The Howl & The Hum deliver their long-awaited debut full-length album. Ironically titled Human Contact in the context of the coronavirus lockdown, it specifically addresses the distinctly modern sense of loneliness that non-stop social media can engender in us, a phenomenon where we're bombarded with head-spinning promises of something new and different just around the corner, yet we can never escape our past, and with it, our sense of regret.
