The press release describes Ringo Deathstarr as shoegaze pioneers. That's funny as I can't remember them being around in 1988 when Kevin Shields was making good use of his guitar pedals.  The truth is, Ringo Deathstarr make sounds you've heard before but that doesn't mean they aren't good at what they do. They blend new shapes into the genre injecting psychedelia and ambience into their familiar sound.
