Expansions by Lonnie Liston Smith & The Cosmic Echoes

Before going solo Lonnie Liston Smith played keyboards for Miles Davis and Pharoah Sanders. He made two solo albums before pouring all of his experiences into his 1975 jazz-funk magnum opus, Expansions. This is properly funky and was hailed as one of the most important dance records by DJ Giles Peterson.
