Joe Talbolt’s (Not the IDLES guy!) film The Last Black Man In San Francisco is based on his childhood friend. The soundtrack is by Emile Mosseri from NYC alt. rockers, The Dig. He has previously contributed to the music of HBO comedy Random Acts of Flyness and the film, How To Tell You’re A Douchebag. As well as Mosseri’s music, there’s a version of Scott MacKenzie’s Summer of Love classic, San Francisco, performed by Michael Marshall from ‘80s R&B group, Timex Social Club.
