Closing track, Rottweiler, was the first song IDLES wrote for their future classic album, Joy As An Act Of Resistance. The second song they wrote was Mercedes Marxist, but it was omitted from the final album. It was written by Joe Talbot at a time when he was unhappy with his life and this made him dislike the song. Time has made him realise it was good after all. It’s backed with another new song, I Dream Guillotine.
