What's Inside Is More Than Just Ham by FEET

Coventry’s FEET will follow their UK tour this summer with the release of their debut album. Its title apparently inspired by a hot dog, What’s Inside Is More Than Just Ham was the result of natural experimentation encouraged by producer Cam Blackwood. Contains recent UK Top 10 Vinyl Chart single ‘English Weather’.

How did FEET make that bass noise on 'Ad Blue'? It's one of the best noises I've heard all year. Anyway. I like this album because in its best moments it sounds like an English cousin of the B-52s. In its worst moments it sounds like something pumped out at the Stone Roses bar when night is turning to day.

On this album FEET make the best of a bad situation and turn something that could be really bad, laddy choruses and noughties indie vibes, into something pretty listenable. As stated, I really enjoyed 'Ad Blue' and thought that when they got their disco shoes on they sounded best. 'English Weather' is mega catchy and although Garbage could probably claim some royalties, it's a decent tune.

It's a promising debut album for the Coventry group and if they stray away from the indie bars and towards the discos it's a bright future indeed.
