Organic Dial is John Elliott - formerly of Emeralds, curator of the always on point Spectrum Spools label as well as a man of many recording aliases. Perhaps most notable; Imaginary Softwoods, Mist and Outer Space. The latter a handle with which he's been joined by Andrew Veres -- who happens to be the other half of Organic Dial.

For the inaugural release on Litmus Supply, we get a diverse EP that begins with the really sweet mellow vibes and lush shimmering dubby ambient techno of ‘Mercator Rhythm’. A dubwise smokers delight that could easily melt into an [echospace detroit] record in the mix or Basic Channel ala ‘Radiance’. The brief but succinct ‘Quetiapine’ follows with flickering energy - crackling and bleeping its pretty and illuminating melodies with magical pointillism. Then we get the micro-epic gleaming ambient synth droner ‘Dayglow Equalizer’, it feels appropriate, as full spectrum beams of light hover out of the speakers over twelve and a half minutes of pure bliss.

Intended as the first instalment in an ongoing body of work that will eventually be a complete series that forms an album. The first twenty-three or so minutes are super promising...
