Woo-hoo! New music from one of the best bands to emerge over the last few years. Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever may be a mouthful to speak but their music is remarkably enjoyable, a sun-dappled ride through the best bits of the Go Betweens, the Triffids and (yes I'm going to say it) Midnight Oil. Here are two new tracks to whet your appetite for whatever they do next. Enjoy.

Oh lord this band. Turns out I love their 2018 full length debut Hope Downs even more than I thought at the time so I'm excited to hear what happens next. Well here's a taster - a two track 7" of new material. The lead track is as lovely as a spring day in Melbourne - a gorgeous glinting beauty of a song - a little more laid back than the bounding songs on Hope Downs and as a result more like Real state than the band have sounded before.
Over on the flip there's Read My Mind which is equally gorgeous and also sounds a bit like Real Estate. No B side throwaway here - it's everything we like about this band in one three minute burst - alternately jangling and tough guitars, plaintive vocals and lovely lilting melodies. A band on the top of their game. This might be a 7" interim release but it is utterly essential.
