Karl Fousek In The Forest

In the Forest is David Hartt’s 2017 video portrait of an abandoned housing project in Puerto Rico. The film was soundtracked by none other than minimal Montreal modular synthesist Karl Fousek, here pressed on Malte Cornelius Jantzen’s Second Editions imprint. Fousek accompanies shots of concrete reclaimed by moss and other vegetation with bleeps, bloops and drones. Intriguing!
