Here is where Girls In Synthesis compile their earlier three EPs so you don't have to pay large prices on discogs. For the uninitiated, the band play a large DIY punk racket inspired by such luminaries as Wire, Crass and the Fall without particularly sounding like any of them. Sonically adventurous, theirs is a primal, primitive noise perfect for troubled times.

So we have an exclusive on this thanks to the kind people at Louder Than War and we want to do a good job for them. So Phil says I get two options - either I write a glowing review and promote it like mad on social media or I buy all the records myself.
I'm busy considering the latter but I'm going to have a go at listening to it first. Oh God. My poor ears. It is filthy disgusting noise which i one part early Adam and the Ants (check out Disappear for evidence ) and Terrorists Are Gay era the Bikes. They are really really not happy with stuff like surburbia on tracks like Suburban Hell. I mean everyone was upset with suburbia in 1978 and yet it's still there. No amount of screaming is going to get rid of it.
Thing is, all the early Girls In Synthesis records have sold out and are worth loads of money on Discogs etc. This LP collects them all into one LP and puts all their seething anger and disgusting guitars in one place.
Positives? Really, really noisy. I really like the fold out sleeve and the fact you get a CD with it. Blows away a few cobwebs.
